Dumb NFL play of the week

With Jon Kitna out with a back injury, Detroit Lions backup quarterback Dan Orlovsky made the first start of his NFL career yesterday against the Minnesota Vikings at the Metrodome. In the first quarter the Lions recovered an Adrian Peterson fumble at the Detroit 1-yard line. Orlovsky threw two incomplete passes, and then...well, see for yourselves after the jump...

The Vikings managed a 12-10 win in what I can only imagine was a pitiful excuse for a football game.
