Johnny Cueto, the rookie sensation for the reds had a pretty amazing debut for the team against the Arizona Diamond Backs, when he walked no one and struck out 10 batters. How amazing is that you ask? 4,113 pitchers have made their debuts in the major league since 1956 and he is the only one to start his career with a double digit strike out/no walk game. He followed that up with an impressive 8 strike out performance against the Milwakee Brewers on April 8th leaving him with a 2.03 ERA, 1-0 record and 18 strike outs after two games. Not bad kid.
