Tomorrow the NFL will announce its full 2008 schedule, with a two-hour program on NFL Network beginning at 2 pm ET.

In Philadelphia, immediately after the schedule comes out the sports-talk hosts, newspaper writers, TV talking heads and fans will dissect the Eagles' schedule and decide how many games they'll win (pending the NFL draft, of course). The discussion will go on for days. Many people also focus on which home games they'll try to get tickets for and/or plan their weekend trips to see an away game.

I assume this goes on in most NFL markets. Tomorrow really should be a national holiday. Let's get our presidential candidates on board. They're all in the Senate now, so they can get to work on it immediately. — Joe Guckin
