One of the storylines to be played out on the ice in the next couple weeks is the rivalry between ultra-fem figure skater Johnny Weir and Evan Lysacek, who pushes a masculine, macho image. The defending World Champion (despite finishing third at the U.S. Championships last year) is 24 and was born in Chicago; He now lives in Los Angeles where he trains and studies acting. At 6-foot-2, he's one of the tallest men in the competition; Looking back well into the '70s, I couldn't find an Olympic gold medalist who topped 6 feet.
