The Green Bay Packers beat the Pittsburgh Steelers, 31-25, to win the Super Bowl. I wrote a recap of the contest, along with presenting my hot players of the game.

I also briefly mention the commercials, which were as uninteresting as usual. But the one by Groupon that made light out of the plight of Tibet to hawk its service was a new high in low. It was offensive, in very bad taste and I am scratching my head thinking that someone thought it was worth the $2.8 million that Fox charged.

"The people of Tibet are in trouble," actor Timothy Hutton says. "Their very culture is in jeopardy. But they still whip up an amazing fish curry."
