Women outscore men for championship

While Jim wrote Monday about the dreadful UConn-Butler men's national championship game, the women took center stage last night and put up 52 more points than the men could muster as Texas A&M won its first women's basketball national title, 76-70, over Notre Dame.

Could this be a turning point for women's basketball? Plus, whereas the stars of men's college basketball all leave early for the NBA, few women do the same.
