There are few moments in sports with the excitement of a game 7 in hockey. With hard hits and goals at such a premium, every pass, every check takes on such importance that tension in the arena is hard to match anywhere else. When you add in suspensions, illegal season-ending hits, biting, and six games of the home team winning…the energy surrounding this game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals, the last game of the NHL season, between the Boston Bruins and Vancouver Canucks is palpable. The Canucks are going for their first Stanley Cup every (losing twice before in the finals); the Bruins want their first since 1972.

While Boston Pride has come and gone this year, Vancouver Pride is July 31. If they win, hopefully the Canucks will follow the Blackhawks' lead and march the Cup in the city's pride parade!
