Sports Illustrated names Outsports in top 100 sports Twitter feeds to follow

New, comments

This was very cool for Jim and me, to be named by Sports Illustrated as one of the top 100 sports Twitter feeds to follow on Twitter's fifth birthday. A couple things that jump out at us. First, we're by far one of the least-followed Twitter feeds on the list; Second is the process by which they determined the list:

For's inaugural Twitter 100, we polled more than 50 Sports Illustrated staffers -- from reporters to writers to editors -- who are hard-core Twitter users and asked them which feeds they considered essential to their daily routine for finding news, information and entertainment from the sports world.

What does all of this mean? Only the cool kids follow us!

Seriously, it's a fun piece of recognition from Sports Illustrated, and we're thrilled that the people there are reading us. And thanks to all of our readers for their continued support. We wouldn't be here if you weren't on the other end engaging us!

For those who don't yet follow us on Twitter, you can find us here.
