While I’m not a big fan of discussion panels, the three presented Friday at Blogs With Balls 5 in Toronto were pretty fantastic. I was super impressed with each one: All educational and quite entertaining. Topics of discussion included the role of social media in sports media, the rise of various big-time sports-news outlets and an NFL Roundtable. Today the schedule is hot and includes panels on the growing power of digital sports “networks,” the state of hockey media, and the numbers and measurements nuts and bolts of sports media.

Today I'm on a panel about diversity in sports media at 3:45pmET. The panel is moderated by ESPN's Jemele Hill. Others in the discussion include Graham Watson from Yahoo! Dr Saturday, Keith Clinkscales of Shadow Mediaworks, Michael Tillery from The Starting Five and Tyler Tumminia, one of the growing number of female executives in sports, at Goldklang Group. You can watch below Saturday, Oct. 6, at 3:45pmET.
