AIDS/LifeCycle 11 started off from San Francisco on Sunday. All told, 2,225 riders will travel 545 miles in seven days, raising $12.6 million for AIDS prevention, education and research. People who participate in the event often talk about it as a life-changing experience. We're grateful for the riders and volunteers who spend so much time and energy making this event a reality.

For the week of the ride, ALC is offering our readers a discount if they register for next years ride. Its only $45; Regularly this is $85. All you have to do is go to the AIDS/LifeCycle Web site and enter OUTSPORTS in the code box of the reg page.
