Gay former NFL player Esera Tuaolo joined our podcast this week to talk about the growing chorus of voices discussing gay issues in the NFL. With all the rumors and stories being written on the issue, Tuaolo hasn't been called on lately to offer his perspective; Today he was smart, on-point and eloquent.

In addition to the latest headlines, Tuaolo also talks about his experience on both sides of the NFL Rookie Symposium, both as a rookie in 2001 and 15 years later talking to the newest class about gay issues in the League.

Tuaolo played in the League for nine seasons and appeared in a Super Bowl with the Atlanta Falcons, playing the majority of his career with the Minnesota Vikings. He went down in the record books as the last person to record a tackle against John Elway.

Plus, he gives us a weather report from snowy Minneapolis.
