Outsports nominated for GLAAD Award for Conner Mertens story

Outsports has been nominated for a GLAAD Media Award for Cyd Zeigler's story about Willamette University football kicker Conner Mertens. This is the fourth GLAAD Award nomination for Outsports, previously nominated for our story on college football kicker Alan Gendreau, out college football captain (and eventual state legislator) Brian Sims and college wrestler Hudson Taylor.

The GLAAD Media Awards recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives.
