Trans man in lead to be Men's Health cover model

Aydian Dowling, a transgender man and activist from Eugene, Ore., with a rocking body, is on his way to grace a future cover of Men's Health magazine.

Dowling has a huge lead in the race to be selected the magazine's Ultimate Guy. Voting ends in June and Dowling has three times as many votes as second place. It has helped that his story has been spread on dozens of Internet sites. In his submission to the magazine, Dowling explains what he gives back to the community:

Giving back is a large part of my life. I started the first YouTube Collaboration BeefHeads Fitness, a channel geared towards Transgender Individuals looking to get fit and healthy. Also, I run multiple groups, Instagram accounts, and other social media platforms encouraging mental and physical health reaching over 45K combined. On a more local platform I did start training other Transgender Males here in my new town of Eugene, OR. They have greatly progressed and I feel very proud to see their self confidence grow. I do nothing but support them and show technique, but drive is contagious!

It would be a cool honor if Dowling were to win and he would be the first transgender man to be a Men's Health cover model.
