Tom Daley will compete in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in at least two events. The British diver, who has competed in each of the last two Summer Olympics, earned a spot in the 10m synchronized diving event at the Diving World Cup, also held in Rio, this week. Daley and his diving partner, Daniel Goodfellow, won a bronze medal at the World Cup, edging out the United States' David Boudia and Steele Johnson.

Goodfellow is a 19-year-old from Cambridge. The duo won the British National Cup gold last month.

Daley won the 10-meter platform Olympic bronze medal in London in 2012, finishing fourth in the synchro event. That same year he won Junior World Championships for both the individual 10-meter platform and synchro 3-meter springboard.

Daley publicly came out as gay since the 2012 Olympics in London. We're sure his fiancé, Dustin Lance Black, will be on hand in Rio to cheer on Daley.
