The Seattle Reign of the National Women’s Soccer League will celebrate LGBT pride month during their game against FC Kansas City, Saturday, June 24 at 7 p.m at Memorial Stadium.

Among the players taking the field for the Reign is Megan Rapinoe, an openly gay player who has a World Cup title and an Olympic gold medal to her name.

The game is being played during pride weekend in Seattle, with the parade set for June 25.

In addition to Rapinoe, key players in the match are Naho Kawasumi (Seattle/Japanese National Team), Jess Fishlock (Seattle/Wales National Team), Becky Sauerbrunn (Kansas City/USWNT), Sydney Leroux (Kansas City), and Amy Rodriguez (Kansas City/USWNT).
