We’re in the double digits! Welcome to Week 10 of the NFL season. Fantasy playoffs are beginning soon, which means if you aren’t in your league’s playoff picture, you need to do whatever you can in your power to get in there.

Maybe picking up some LGBT-friendly players could bring you some help.

With no openly gay players in the league, we formed a fantasy team from players who have shown their support for LGBT issues in interviews with Outsports and other media.

Here are our starts and sits for Week 10:

Quarterback

Start: Aaron Rodgers vs. Dolphins

Despite struggling against the Patriots on SNF, Rodgers still provides the best option this week among our quarterbacks. He’ll be back at home in a cold weather game against a Miami team used to warm weather, so I like Rodgers’ chances to go off.

Sit: Andrew Luck vs. Jaguars, Cam Newton @ Steelers (TNF), Derek Carr vs. Chargers, Russell Wilson @ Rams

Cam Newton has been playing lights out lately, and I was close to making him our starter this week. However, a short week against the Steelers usually doesn’t bode a lot of confidence, as numbers are traditionally lower on TNF games.

Running back

Start: Jordan Howard vs. Lions

Two TD’s from Howard last week has reinvigorated my confidence in the Chicago back. Hopefully he will be able to repeat a similar performance against a struggling Lions team at home.

Start: Frank Gore @ Packers

Gore had 20 carries last week, the most on his team. Even with QB Ryan Tannehill possibly returning to action this week, I like Gore’s chances to be a solid RB2 in a large majority of fantasy leagues.

Sit: Kyle Juszczyk vs. Giants (MNF)

He’s good looking, but not good looking in my lineup.

Wide receiver/flex

Start: Davante Adams vs. Dolphins, T.Y. Hilton vs. Jaguars, Robert Woods vs. Seahawks

With both DeAndre Hopkins and Adam Thielen on bye this week, Team Outsports Equality is forced to start two receivers that have not started yet this season. However, this week, we pick three. Adams, Hilton and Woods all have favorable, home matchups and their QB’s have been relying a lot on them lately. Expect each of them to have big games this Sunday.

Sit: Marquise Goodwin vs. Giants (MNF), Kenny Stills @ Packers

These two are strong plays, but there is a bunch of uncertainty with these guys. Goodwin is likely going to be playing with a rookie quarterback in Nick Mullens and Kenny Stills’ health is still up in the air.

Tight end

Start: Travis Kelce vs. Cardinals

The league’s best tight end against one of the worst defenses in the NFL at home? I like my chances.

Sit: Rob Gronkowski @ Titans

Gronk takes a backseat this week because he is not 100 percent. He missed the game this week against the Packers and his status is up in the air against the Titans on Sunday. I don’t want a repeat of last week and start him when he was injured.

Defense

Start: Los Angeles Chargers @ Raiders

The Raiders offense is lost. Meanwhile, the Chargers defense has been red hot lately, including netting a pick-six last week against the Seahawks. Look for Casey Heyward and the Chargers to shine again this week.

Kicker

Start: Matt Prater @ Bears

With Brandon McManus on a bye, Prater automatically steps into the starter role. I like Prater’s chances given the fact that the Bears have been forcing teams into field goals rather than touchdowns lately.

LGBT Focus

Davante Adams

“It’s definitely something I support, I don’t discriminate against anybody,” Adams said. “You can’t discriminate anyone for their [sexual] preference.”
