Belle Brockhoff is one of the stars of a new commercial airing during the 2018 Winter Olympics and featuring six Olympic snowboarders in Pyeongchang.

Brockhoff, who is openly gay, was tapped by Toyota to be part of the company’s “Start Your Impossible” campaign. You can catch the commercial airing on NBC during the Winter Olympics.

She has also been tapped as a centerpiece of Bridgestone’s campaign in Australia during the Games. Their commercial online is a stunner, featuring Brockhoff and her journey.

Brockhoff is no wallflower. She came out publicly as gay in 2013 to protest the anti-LGBT laws in Russia ahead of the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.

“I want to be proud of who I am and be proud of all the work I’ve done to get into the Olympics and not have to deal with this law,” Brockhoff said at the time.

Brockhoff is back at it in Pyeongchang, aiming for a medal.

You can find complete Winter Olympics 2018 coverage on SB Nation, and Outsports will have the LGBT angle.
