If you’re looking to be Adam Rippon’s valentine… get in the increasingly long line.
The figure skater who has captured America’s heart over the last week is sure to have young men lining up for a shot at his heart when he returns to the United States (sorry ladies, he’s into the guys).
Rippon opened up in Pyeongchang about the kind of guy he’s looking for, ahead of Valentine’s Day.
“A nice guy, who’s cute, who is really passionate about what he does, is funny, and is smart,” he said at a press conference.
In other words, “boys, if you want a shot, you’ve got your work cut out for you.”
One other little clue that he dropped is lamenting — and simultaneously celebrating — that he would be spending this Valentine’s Day without a love in his life.
“Nobody loves me as much as I love me,” he said, “so I guess I’ll just be my own Valentine.”
So if Rippon is that much in love with himself, what is he looking for? Let’s see… a nice guy… who’s cute… who is really passionate about what he does… is funny… and is smart.
And someone who can sing. Definitely someone who can sing.
