OutShouts:

The Equality Coaching Alliance is looking for your feedback for an event just 2 years away: Gay Games 11 in Hong Kong.

From November 11th through the 19th, 2022, history will be made as Hong Kong plays host to the first ever Gay Games in Asia. Over 100 volunteers are already hard at work to make sure all visitors have a safe, enjoyable and personally fulfilling experience. To help us achieve this goal, we would like you to tell us which aspects are most influential in your decision to take part as a participant, volunteer and/or spectator.

Your feedback will be immensely helpful as we establish priorities and allocate resources. The survey takes less than five minutes to complete and even if you are unable to attend, your insights will still be valuable to our management team.

Click here to take part in the survey, which is available in English, Chinese Traditional, Chinese Simplified, Spanish and French.

If you’re an LGBTQ person in sports looking to connect with others in the community, head over to GO! SPACE to meet and interact with other LGBTQ athletes, or to Equality Coaching Alliance to find other coaches, administrators and other non-athletes in sports.

NOlympics is an organization of community leaders and activists formed with the aim to end the Olympic Games. They claim the Olympics are bad for local communities of lower- and middle-class people, and that the Olympics are “dangerous” for the LGBTQ community. Joining Cyd this week to talk about all of this are Gigi Droesch and Gia Lappe. Listen here:
