Good morning and welcome to The Huddle for today, December 23, 2020. It’s Wednesday. If you forgot to finish your Christmas shopping, you’ve got today and tomorrow. For the rest of us, IT’S FESTIVUS! This is the first observance without the late, great Jerry Stiller.

Your need to read time today is 90-seconds, as usual.

OutShouts:

Out UCLA softball coach and GOSPACE co-founder Kirk Walker is looking for members who would like to be involved with Social Media and TikTok for GOSPACE. The social media platform can have great ability for us to connect with closeted student athletes and LGBTQ student athletes who feel isolated. He’s hoping to get more members to jump on a call to strategize and work together to create a presence for GOSPACE on TikTok. Contact Kirk, Connor Murphy or Theo Rabinowitz if interested!

If you’re an LGBTQ person in sports looking to connect with others in the community, head over to GOSPACE to meet and interact with other LGBTQ athletes, or to Equality Coaching Alliance to find other coaches, administrators and other non-athletes in sports.
