The COVID-19 pandemic has the majority of the world under shelter-in-place orders to slow its spread. Having all of us heroically cooped up is a noble cause, but the crisis also thrust many scheduled events into the unknown. Within the sports world, that status isn’t reserved for major sports organizations scrambling to figure out how to salvage their seasons.

This hits home especially for out South African cricketer Lizelle Lee, whose wedding to fiancé Tanja Cronje is currently on hold thanks to the coronavirus crisis. The couple were originally scheduled to tie the knot on April 10, but that day now falls within the 21-day quarantine window enacted by South African president Cyril Ramaphosa.
