Halloween is called “gay Christmas” in some circles, given how popular the holiday is for so many in the LGBTQ community. More gay parties pop up around Halloween than any other weekend, maybe excluding New Year’s Eve.

LGBTQ people in sports are no exception, and they didn’t disappoint this year.

Here are some athletes we say don their gay apparel for Halloween this year.

Olympic and WNBA champion Stefanie Dolson may very well have won Halloween with her take on Blue’s Clues:

Joanna Lohman, former professional soccer player, as Ted Lasso

High school athletic director and basketball coach Anthony Nicodemo dressed up as the not-so-cowardly lion to officiate the gay wedding of two friends:

Former NFL player Esera Tuaolo and his boyfriend dressed up as… NFL players:

Don’t mess with Olympic champ Nicola Adams:

Cameraman Scottie Winer was somewhere in the world for CBS’ broadcast of Patriots vs. Chargers:

Gal Pal Sports throwing some hilarious shade:

Former MLS player Robbie Rogers, husband Greg Berlanti and family were about to be slimed:

Figure skater and Olympic medalist Adam Rippon had poked at Nikki Minah with a nearly NSFW post:

Fellow Olympian Tom Daley went a little less ribald, with a self-made costume channelling his inner Boy Wonder with his son Robbie as the Caped Crusader:

USMLR rugby player Devin Ibañez and his boyfriend Fergus Wade informed Mario that his princess was in another castle:

Minnesota Lynx’s Crystal Dangerfield let her nails grow.

Ice dancer Kaitlyn Weaver went up Schitt’s Creek.

Layshia Clarendon honored royalty with purple rain.

Basketball players Breanna Stewart and Marta Xargay celebrated their newborn’s first Halloween.

Outsports’ Karleigh Webb protected Sector 2814.

Swimmer Michael Gunning was the Black Panther.

But the top prize has to go to this toddler, who channeled sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson:
