Erik Braverman, the gay Los Angeles Dodgers senior vice-president who has pushed the organization and Major League Baseball for broader and deeper LGBTQ inclusion efforts, is now engaged to marry his boyfriend of two years, Jonathan Cottrell.

Braverman popped the marriage question in Las Vegas this weekend. And Cottrell said yes!

Jonathan Cottrell and Erik Braverman have been dating for two years and are now engaged to marry.

Braverman is a senior vice-president with the Dodgers, one of the most storied franchises in all of American professional sports. He, along with CMO Lon Rosen, has pushed the team to fully embrace the LGBTQ community in elevated ways, leading to the largest annual Pride Night in all of sports. Braverman’s work in the LGBTQ sports world extends beyond MLB and across the local community in Los Angeles.

Cottrell is an engineer and model who has gotten some attention on Instagram with some impressive photos. He was born in France and grew up around the world. He was a swimmer in high school and is a graduate of McGill University.
