The rainbow ranks of pro wrestling grew yet again on Wednesday when independent pro wrestler Rolando Perez came out publicly as bisexual.

The Alabama-based grappler, known colloquially as “Miami Ice,” made the announcement on Twitter Wednesday morning, getting straight to the point in his message.

“Fuck it … I’m bisexual,” Perez wrote. The moment found perfect punctuation in the devilish emoji that closed the message.

Perez has become a popular name throughout the Southeast U.S., starring in multiple promotions in recent years. After two reigns as Pro South Wrestling All-Out champion, Perez became a staple of Alabama-based promotion New South Pro Wrestling.

He challenged for multiple New South championships in 2020 and remains a constant figure on New South’s weekly IWTV program Action Clash. He has also appeared for Game Changer Wrestling, IWA Mid-South and TWE Chattanooga.

Outsports congratulates Perez for showing power in living his truth.
