The action at the Olympic Games reaches its conclusion Sunday.

There have been 48 competitions within 32 sports on the Paris 2024 schedule, with only a few left to be completed before the Closing Ceremony at the Stade de France.

There has been Team LGBTQ representation in more than 30 of those competitions, leading to the most Olympic medals ever won by a group of out athletes.

Outsports is tracking the fortunes of at least 195 publicly out LGBTQ athletes at these Games.

3.30pm: Women’s basketball final

The USA — who have seven out LGBTQ players in their squad — take to the court for an eighth consecutive Olympic final. France will be determined to thwart them in front of a passionate home crowd cheering for gold. Earlier on Sunday, Australia beat Belgium 85-81 in the bronze-medal match — the Opals had Team LGBTQ players Sami Whitcomb and Amy Atwell starting.
