The best diving video of the 2024 Paris Olympics didn’t even take place in the pool.
To wrap up a successful Paris Olympic Games, Tom Daley and the men of Great Britain’s Diving team posted an Instagram clip performing their version of the viral Charli xcx “Apple” dance entitled “Brat Summer Olympics.”
Clad in nothing but Speedos.
During the Olympics, judges usually need to see a performance happen before recording a score. But after reading that last detail, even before you click play on the video there’s a pretty good chance you’ve already given it a 10.

Although Daley messed up the syncho choreography by glancing and smirking at Jack Laugher a couple of times, Team GB’s dance was still worthy of a perfect score.
After all, there wasn’t a single splash. But there were plenty of water droplet emojis.
Plus they got added degree of difficulty points by asking five straight men to try and keep with with a gay guy dancing to Charli. The Brat Summer Olympics were definitely the one event where Daley had home field advantage.
Team GB had plenty of good reasons to celebrate during the Paris Games. Daley, of course, completed a fabulously successful comeback by taking home the Silver Medal in Men’s 10m Synchro with partner Noah Williams.
Williams then doubled up on his medal count by winning the Bronze in Men’s 10m Platform. Elsewhere, the British divers completed their hardware collection when Laugher and Anthony Harding claimed the Bronze in Men’s 3m Springboard.
But all of that was just a warm-up to the video that all of us are going to watch more than any other from these games.
At least until someone teaches them the choreo for “Hot to Go!”
