ESPN's uneducated MMA reporter Franklin McNeil delivers some backward analysis of Fox's likelihood of being licensed to fight as a woman. He says that there is no transgender policy in the state, which Outsports sources say may not be true. He also says that Fox did not make her transgender status known, which she does not have to do as she is recognized by the State of Illinois as a female!!
And instead of talking about how backward the decision would be to bar her from fighting, McNeil focuses on his own bias that says she is unlikely to be licensed.
Either way, the fact is that Fox's next fight, scheduled for April 20, has been postponed, according to ESPN.
Our original story on Fox dove into her past and the fact that she would be able to compete in many other female sports leagues and international competitions.

If it's any consolation ...
He’s terrible at covering MMA in general. Pretty sure he only got non ESPN from his days working in old media with their Newark Star Ledger.
I’d argue Josh Gross is the only MMA journalist worth paying attention to on ESPN.
