Kansas is no longer unbeaten in college football after the Jayhawks lost, 36-28, to No. 4 Missouri. With the loss, Kansas became the sixth No. 2 team to lose this season. The stage is now set for Missouri to play West Virginia in the BCS title game — if Mizzou beats Oklahoma and West Virginia beats Pitt next weekend. Kansas (like Missouri, West Virginia and Ohio State) only has one loss, but losing so late in the season has knocked the Jayhawks from any national title chance. Missouri QB Chase Daniel went 40 for 49 for 361 yards and three touchdowns and was the best player on the field Saturday night. —Jim Buzinski
