As expected, Michael Vick has pleaded guilty, but it’s to only one federal charge in connection with a dog fighting ring he allegedly financed. He’s still claiming that he never gambled on dog fighting and that he never helped kill any of the dogs. In other news, Michael Vick has just announced he has a bridge to sell you. Vick’s claims counter the statements others have said under oath.
In his statement, Vick said, “everybody makes mistakes.” Yeah, that’s true. But this wasn’t a mistake. This was something he did consciously and actively over the course of several years, knowing full well that it was wrong. So don’t claim it was a mistake, as though it was some accident.
