NFL going international again

ESPN.com reports that the NFL will hold another regular season game in the United Kingdom. In October the Giants and Dolphins slogged through the mud at Wembley Stadium. Two or three other venues are being considered for 2008 in addition to Wembley, according to a source. Let's hope the field is in better shape this time. Tampa Bay, Kansas City, New Orleans and Seattle are the leading candidates for the UK game.

Meanwhile, it's expected that the league will give its approval for the Buffalo Bills to play a home game in Toronto, to help build its Canadian fan base. Seeing as how the NHL played a game at the Bills' home field, maybe they should put the NFL game in the Air Canada Centre. They'd have to use the Arena Football rules, but still... -- Joe Guckin
