Candace Parker proves that it’s not just male athletes who are ill tempered.

Parker, of the Los Angeles Sparks, threw down with Lisa Leslie and her Detroit Shock in the closing seconds of a game on Tuesday. The Shock, ironically, are coached by former NBA bad boy Bill Laimbeer. This comes just three day after IndyCar driver Danica Patrick got in the face of Milka Duno in the pits.

Parker keeps breaking new ground in the WNBA. In June, she became the league’s first player to dunk (and did it in back-to-back games) and now, she’s the ringleader in what’s probably the league’s first brawl. Watch the video here. –Matt Hennie
