Kye Allums missed his team's previous three games with a concussion, but he came back Sunday with a vengeance, shooting 3-for-5 from the field scoring 10 points and pulling in two rebounds as George Washington beat George Mason, 67-58. The GWU Colonials trailed the George Mason Bulldogs, 30-17, at halftime before roaring back for the big comeback win.
Allums has hit on 70% of his shots in his last two games, both wins for his Colonials. The team is now 4-3, a big turnaround from losing their first two games at the Best Buy Classic. Their next game is Wednesday at Old Dominion; the Colonials have yet to win a road game this season.
