Caster Semenya won her first race back. It was a leisurely 800 meters, a full 9 seconds off her best time, against a reportedly weak field at a Finnish meet.
"To come and run a 2:04 is not easy, especially after what happened," Semenya said. "I was a little bit nervous because it has been a long time not competing," Semenya told the Associated Press. "It's a new beginning."
