The NOH8 Campaign is joining us for Equality Night with the Los Angeles Clippers. The event, on Wednesday, Feb. 2, is the first LGBT night with the NBA team. The first 50 people to arrive at the event’s cocktail reception (starting at 6pm on the City View Terrace at Staples Center) will have their NOH8 photos taken for the campaign. The campaign sees it as another opportunity to challenge stereotypes; The event will be the largest LGBT night at an NBA game ever.
You can purchase tickets to the event at the Los Angeles Clippers Web site (they're $20). If you purchase your ticket by Jan. 20, you will receive a free Clippers LGBT Equality Night T-shirt. Other groups joining the event are Gym Sportsbar and Compete Magazine. Equality California is a co-presenter with Outsports.
