There's been a bunch of talk this week about a report saying an NFL player is strongly considering coming out in the next couple of months. It lead sports personality Bomani Jones to wonder aloud on Twitter if that athlete would be able to attract the all-powerful corporate-sponsorship dollars.
always hear ppl say the first out athlete will make all this cash as a pitchman. i just don’t see how it’ll be that simple.

Bomani and I will talked what kind of pay day — if any — that athlete may be looking at, and whether those possible endorsement deals in any way put a cloud over someone's decision to come out.
