With the third world Outgames underway in Antwerp, Belgium, the city will be the site of a kiss-in on Friday at 6 p.m. to protest the passing of anti-gay laws in Russia. The Winter Olympics will be held in Sochi, Russia, in February.

The announcement of what is being called "To Russia With Love, to be staged in front of the Russian consulate:

The laws that recently have been passed in Russia against the promotion of gay lifestyle condone the bullying of and violence towards LGBTQ people in an unprecedented way. This has to stop! People are being imprisoned for being who they are and for standing up for their friends and family.

We need to put our feet onto the pavement and stand by our resolve to do something towards ending this ludicrous situation.

There could not be a better time to act: Antwerp is hosting the 3rd edition of the World Outgames. With thousands of international LGBTQ sports(wo)men and their supporters visiting the Outgames host city this is our chance to show our friends in Russia that we care, and to show the Russian Government what we think about their policies. We will not discriminate, we will not bully, nor will we fight; we will KISS. Love will conquer all!

For this to be effective we need a lot of people and a whole lot of saliva, so please forward this message to everyone you know who has a heart and post comments on the notice board, so that we can gather an impressive, loving crowd in front of the Russian consulate. Thank you!
