On Monday we will reveal Outsports' editorial selections for some year-end honors after what has been a watershed year for LGBT people in sports. We'd love your feedback on some folks to consider for these awards:

Male & Female Athletes of the Year: The LGBT athletes who rose above the pack and performed with excellence on the court, ice and field.

Male & Female Heroes of the Year: The people in sports who went beyond wins and losses and worked to make the sports world a better place for LGBT athletes, coaches, fans, administrators and media members.

Sportsperson of the Year: The person who best exemplified the year in LGBT sports.

Asshole of the Year: The person who most demonstrated a bygone era in sports where LGBT are not welcomed with open arms.
