Jason Page gets daily show on NBC Sports Radio

NBC Sports doesn't shy away from propping up openly gay sports radio host Jason Page, who has previous experience with ESPN and Sirius/XM.

Openly gay sports radio host Jason Page has been promoted to a big nightly spot on NBC Sports Radio. Page will now be heard Monday through Friday, 1am-6amET, on Up Late With Jason Page. He will also continue to broadcast his Saturday-evening show.

"It's so amazing to have a national platform five days a week," Page told Outsports. "When I got into radio 19 years ago, I dreamed I could be on in one major market someday. Now I am on in many more than that. It really is a great example of never giving up on your dreams."

Page has had previous stints on ESPN Radio and Sirius/XM. He also has a background in play-by-play. He came out publicly years ago.

NBC Sports doesn't shy away from Page's sexual orientation, writing in his bio: "An avid golfer and accomplished bowler, Page resides in New York with his partner."
