Want more evidence of the impact of the St. Louis Ram signing Michael Sam, the first openly gay player in NFL history? His jersey is right now outselling all but five other players, and this includes superstar quarterbacks Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers. That's amazing for a seventh-round pick.

ESPN's Darren Rovell has a list of the Top 10-selling jerseys, and it's headed by another rookie, Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel.

Here, via Rovell, are the Top 10 jerseys by sales at the NFL Shop from April 1 through July 17 (Sam was drafted by the Rams on May 10):

1. Johnny Manziel, Browns

2. Russell Wilson, Seahawks

3. Colin Kaepernick, 49ers

4. Peyton Manning, Broncos

5. Richard Sherman, Seahawks

6. Michael Sam, Rams

7. Tom Brady, Patriots

8. Drew Brees, Saints

9. Aaron Rodgers, Packers

10. 12th man, Seahawks

Manziel was a first-round pick, Sam a seventh. His being in the Top 6 is amazing.
