Arizona Cardinals backup quarterback Matt Barkley apparently lost this week’s team quarterback accuracy contest. No one should be surprised by that from a guy who was sent packing by the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this season even before they cut forward-pass-challenged quarterback Tim Tebow.
The “punishment” for losing the contest? Barkley had to run around the field before tonight’s Sunday Night Football game against the Cincinnati Bengals. His outfit? Only briefs underwear and some kind of strange-looking “chaps” fashioned out of Gatorade towels. Like ya do.

Well Matt Barkley clearly lost a bet. Just had to run to midfield and dance in this get up. pic.twitter.com/oYXEEWyDao

Clearly Matt Barkley is on the wrong side of a USC bet? pic.twitter.com/OXGWu2wqnO

I wonder if this could get a fine from the NFL.
It would take an injury to Carson Palmer for Barkley to get into the game tonight, and we doubt he’ll be wearing the same “uniform.”
