Blogs With Balls is a great event featuring sports bloggers, writers and personalities from across the country. After BWB5 in Toronto the event took an 18-month hiatus. Now it's back and headed to Chicago this Wednesday, April 29, in conjunction with the NFL Draft.

The day is a great opportunity to meet some incredible folks in the sports media. The panel discussions are always lively, but there is also tons of time to meet the speakers and share drinks or food with them after the event. The event is the brainchild of Don Povia, Chris Lucas and Kyle Bunch.

I will be on a panel discussing athlete activists and social justice issues in sports. It should be an incredible conversation as 1) it ends the day of panels, 2) it's after they start serving beer and 3) the folks on the panel are quite entertaining:

• Moderator: Kevin Blackistone, ESPN
• Julie DiCaro, A League of Her Own
• Aaron Harison, Co-Founder & President, Washington Free Beacon
• Greg Howard, Deadspin
• Chris Kluwe, NFL
• Cyd Zeigler, Outsports

There will also be an incredible one-on-one conversation with Christina Kahrl and Fallon Fox discussing trans issues in sports. After Bruce Jenner's announcement last week, this is sure to be one of the highlights of the day. Other folks from the Outsports family include Vox Media's Chad Mumm and SB Nation editor Spencer Hall.

If you're in the Chicago area, come on out to Blogs With Balls this Wednesday, April 29. They are offering a special rate for Outsports readers. Just type in "outsports" at checkout and you'll get 50% off the current registration rate.
