With there being a record number of out LGBTQ Winter Olympians this year, there are quite a few of them who are married or in close relationships. On this Valentine’s Day, let’s look at athletes in love.

Emilia Andersson Ramboldt, a hockey player for Sweden, married her wife, Anna Ramboldt, in 2015. The couple has a young son, Walter.

Eric Radford, a Canadian pairs figure skater, is engaged to Spanish ice dancer Luis Fenero. The two have been dating since 2016 and Radford popped the question to Fenero last year.

Brittany Bowe, a U.S., speedskater, is dating Dutch speedskater Manon Kamminga. “It’s nice being with somebody that has the same passion, same drive, same goals,” Bowe said. “It’s obviously difficult living on different sides of the world. But we’re both focused on our goal.”

Ireen Wüst, a Dutch speedskater who identifies as bi, is dating her female partner Letitia de Jong, a long-distance skater.

Sophie Vercruyssen, a bobsledder from Belgium is dating Lore Simons. “My relationship has not been secret for the past five years,” Vercruyssen said to the website ZiZo.

Gus Kenworthy, an American freestyle skier, is dating actor Matt Wilkas.

Daniela Iraschko-Stolz, an Austrian ski jumper, is married to Isabel Stolz. “I don’t want to hide myself,” Iraschko-Stolz said about being openly gay. “I never cared at all what other people think about me.”

Cheryl Maas, a Dutch snowboarder is married to former snowboarder Stine Brun Kjeldaas of Norway. The couple have two daughters, Lara and Mila.
