A Los Angeles man who recently underwent gender reassignment surgery is among athletes featured in a TV special on the Tough Mudder obstacle race.
Taylor, 27, whose last name was not given, will be one of the three stories featured on the CW’s “Tough Mudder: Tougher Together” special, which airs Thursday March 15, at 8 p.m. EDT.
Taylor is participating in his fifth Tough Mudder, but the first since undergoing gender reassignment surgery that left him bedridden. He is doing the obstacle course with his dad.
It’s cool that a transgender athlete is being featured and another sign that more and more trans people want their stories to be told. Taylor’s promo starts at 2:15 of this clip:
