While Outsports Pride won’t be taking place in Philadelphia this June as planned, we’re creating a series of interactive experiences to capture the fun and excitement of the events and conversations we usually host in person.
Whether it’s learning more about how to bring LGBTQ inclusion to sports, meeting some of your sports heroes, finally connecting with people you’ve read about, or celebrating with some fun entertainment, we’ve created a series of events all month to capture the essence of Outsports Pride.
This is in addition to our two weekly community Zoom chats, held on Friday at 7 p.m. ET/PT. You can find more information and register for those here.
Our interactive virtual programming for Pride Month will be engaging and diverse and will feature people across the LGBTQ sports world, including members of GO! Space and Equality Coaching Alliance:

WEBINAR: How to address homophobia & transphobia in sports when you hear it
Your teammate uses a lesbian slur. A coach says he doesn’t understand the issue with certain sensitive language. Your male teammates continually talk about sex with women. How do you address homophobic and transphobic language, as well as heterosexual conversation in the locker room, when sometimes the person saying it has no ill intentions, and sometimes they do?
Featuring: Aron Lipkin, Homegrown Lacrosse; Olivia Wynn, Temple AAD; Kaig Lightner, youth soccer coach; Giovanna Melo, CSU Bakersfield volleyball coach
We hope you’ll join us for any and all of these events. See you then to celebrate Pride!
