The forthcoming documentary Out In The Ring chronicles the past and present of LGBTQ pro wrestling, unpacking the community’s extensive history and push for acceptance within the industry.
As the film nears completion, the team behind it brought together a vast collection of top LGBTQ figures and allies within pro wrestling for a two day virtual fundraising event dubbed We Speak Out.
The Feb. 6 through Feb. 7 event on Twitch featured a rotating panel of 80-plus LGBTQ pro wrestlers, media members and allies, including EFFY, MV Young, Still Life with Apricots & Pears, Jordan Blade and yours truly.

Multiple items donated by top names in pro wrestling (Sonny Kiss, Anthony Bowens, RJ City, Allysin Kay) were raffled off as part of the event. All proceeds from the raffle benefited Out In The Ring’s production and The Matthew Shepard Foundation.
