The Cincinnati Red Stockings of 1869

On this day in 1869, the Cincinnati Red Stockings became the first professional baseball team. And in August 2020, Reds broadcaster Thom Brennaman dropped an anti-gay slur on a hot mic and would wind up suspended, only to resign a month later.
