Nearing the end of the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft, 15 defensive ends have been selected. CBS Sports had Sam as their 16th defensive end. Several DEs with the same NFL.com rating as Sam have been drafted.
There is a string of selections in the late fifth and early sixth rounds that would make a lot of sense to select Sam.
He could go any time now…
