Last year's Night Out with the Washington Nationals was so successful that the groups involved decided to do it twice this year. The LGBT community will descend on Nationals Park next Tuesday, June 25, and later in the summer on Aug. 27. Throwing out the opening pitch next week will be former college football kicker Alan Gendreau, whom we profiled and introduced to the world in April.
Tickets are $20-$25, with $4 of each ticket going to Team DC’s scholarship fund — a pretty good cause! You can buy tickets in person at Nellie’s Sports Bar.
