If you are in San Francisco on June 26, you should consider buying a ticket to the Giants vs. Colorado Rockies game as part of LGBT Pride Night. It comes with this cool T-shirt:

What's great is the incorporation of a patch noting the team's 2014 World Series title. It adds a sense of history to the shirt. Tickets range from $41.25 to $49 and are expected to go fast. From the team's release on the event:

The Giants are proud to invite you to celebrate the Bay Area's rich LGBT culture at the annual Giants LGBT Night at AT&T Park! With San Francisco Pride taking place on Saturday and Sunday of this weekend, what better way than to kick off the festivities on Friday evening at AT&T Park? All members of the LGBT community, as well as family, friends and organizations are invited to come out and show their pride at this event! This special event ticket package includes access to the LGBT Night pre-game party in Seals Plaza from 5:00-7:00 p.m., a ticket to watch the Giants take on the Rockies, as well as a limited-edition LGBT-themed Giants T-shirt, only available with the purchase of the special event ticket! Partial proceeds from each special event ticket will be donated to non-profits in the LGBT community.

I saw mention of this shirt in a terrific article by Paul Lukas for ESPN.com, who writes the popular Uni-Watch blog. Cyd and I are both quoted in the piece, which looks at the use of rainbow uniforms by sports teams around the world to honor gay pride.
