Professional bowler Liz Johnson married her girlfriend, Kasia Kaufman, on Monday. Johnson posted the announcement, along with the above photograph, on Facebook, along with this great caption:
Today I got to marry my best friend and the love of my life! I will love you and be by your side forever!
The ceremony was a small one, and Kaufman called it “perfect” on Facebook.
Johnson is one of the most successful female bowlers and recently won a tournament on the PBA Tour. It was only the second time a woman won a PBA Tour event.
While Johnson grew up in Upstate New York, the couple lives near Chicago, where Kaufman works. For Johnson, who travels a lot for bowling, the central location in the Midwest isn’t a bad thing.
Congratulations to Johnson and Kaufman, and we hope your marriage brings you all of the love and joy you can imagine for years to come.
